"PURCHASE A PRODUCT THAT EMPOWERS LIVES"

Tribal Earth only supports Fairly Traded products & deals directly with producers.

Have you ever thought when you buy a product where it has come from, the many hands it has passed through and the work that has gone into making it. Our wish is that when you purchase a product through us you are helping our artisians to make a fair and sustainable living.

What is Fair Trade?   It is a tool that returns more income to the producers rather than the middle man.

What are the basic principles of Fair Trade?   By agreeing on a price that benefits all parties, by working directly with the producers & by building a long term trading partnership that creates a fair & sustainable system where everybody benefits.

Why Trade Fairly  By giving more income to the producers has a huge impact on Poverty. Ultimately this empowers producers to develope livelihoods that avoid dependancy.

Fair Trade is not controlled by the government it is a consumer model, another product feature like size or colour. Consumers who buy Fair Trade usually have the desire to make the world a better place while still enjoying consumer goods. Fair Trade is a sustainable system where everybody benefits. It is a global responsibility with Business Ethics & Ethical Consumerism. Fair Trade addresses these objectives through a market driven commercial model rather than Charity.

A HUMAN RIGHT to have  food, clothing, shelter & an education....Not A Priviledge.

  • BARGAINS at what price? Women, Men & Children the world over are trapped under poor working conditions. In many cases people have been trafficked into labour & work long hours under conditions of slavery....some perhaps producing the bargains that grace our shelves in Australia.
  • A Dream come True in TANZANIA. Ever since Scolla was little she dreamed of becoming a hairdresser. When World Vision began working in her community Scolla recieved Child Sponsorship for 7 years... the seeds were sown for that dream to become reality. She then had the chance to study....she studied hard & then got an aprenticeship. She worked hard & saved money & in 2yrs she bought her own Salon. Without child sponsorship Scolla would not have been able to to fulfil her dream. She now hopes to train her assistant & expand her business.
